• 23 Oct – Lasagne Scrolls and salad – you can have either meat lasagne scrolls or pumpkin and spinach scrolls • 30 Oct – Schnitzels – beef or chicken with a choice of 4 gravies • 6 Nov – Fish and Chips • 13 Nov – BBQ list at the RSL • 20 Nov – Club Team meal to be decided • 27 Nov – Yiros – lamb or chicken list at the RSL • 4 Dec – Hamburgers • 11 Dec – BBQ • 18 December no meal but will be setting the hall for Christmas dinner. If there are any meals you wish to attend but can’t make it to the RSL to put your name on the list you can: • email a message through, or • phone Moira on 0447 140 542, or • phone Carmel on 0448 762 590 Christmas Dinner on Saturday 19th December. The cost of the dinner will be $35 each. The menu will consist of: • A choice of 2 entrees, • Main course, • A choice of 2 desserts. A raffle will be run to raise funds for a new deep fryer for the kitchen. Each member living in Peterborough or locally will be given a book of 10 tickets to sell or buy themselves. Moira and Marilyn will be selling tickets down the Main Street as well. Tickets are $1 each and will be drawn on the 30th October. Raffle books will be at the RSL for you to collect as you visit or Moira will be dropping them in your letterbox. 1st prize - $100 voucher from Foodland 2nd Prize –$50 voucher for a dinner for two from the Peterborough Hotel 3rd prize - $50 voucher from the Peterborough Newsagency 4th prize - $50 meat voucher from Peterborough Meat Supplies
Annual General Meeting is set for Monday 9th November at 6pm. Nomination sheet is available at the RSL and closing date and time for nominations is Thursday 5th November at 6pm. NO NOMINATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE CLOSING DATE AND TIME.
